Can I get back some MPG after lifting my Jeep?

I knew that I would lose MPG by lifting my TJ 4" and adding 35"s, so I'm wondering if there is some ways to get some back? Bigger throttle body to get more HP and reduce the amount of open throttle? Programmer to maximize the fuel curves to squeeze as much out of the 4.0L as possible?
Any help will be appreiciated.
