I want to buy my wife an Iphone. We have a contract with T-mobile so my plan is to use her sim card from her current phone (Blackberry Pearl Flip) and put it in the unlocked iphone. However, I am being forced to pay $30 a month for a data plan on my HTC dash that I am not even using because T-Mobile doesn't offer 3G service in our area and it is just too slow. Is there any way to get around the data plan on an iphone cuz we just use our wifi?
Her blackberry pearl does not have a data plan. Mine only does because I realized too late that my htc dash phone that i got for free under contract required one.
