can i get an unlocked phone from best buy for virgin mobile?

i was looking to get a new phone and just wondering if i can get an unlocked phone from best buy and use it for virgin mobile?
 
I don't think BB sells unlocked phones for use on Virgin Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Cricket...et al.

Virgin Mobile is an MVNO targeting young consumers with pay-as-you-go (PAYG) service. As an MVNO, they use Sprint's CDMA network. In 2008, Virgin acquired Helio, another MVNO.

As far as I know, best buy only sells unlocked phones for GSM providers (ATT and TMOBILE).

The keywords in that information above is CDMA vs GSM technology
