Can I get a verizon wireless phone and use it with T-Mobile service?

My friend is moving to Brazil and she is giving me her old voyager from verizon wireless. I already have T mobile service and my contract isnt up for about 2 years! Can I use her verizon voyager with my Tmobile phone service? thank you for helping me! (:
 
no you can't. even if you get the phone unlocked, the cell service will work but that's about it and you won't be able to get it insured or repaired if something happens to it.
 
as far as i know you cant but if you already have a phone with t-mobile try taking the sim card out and putting it in the voyager and see what happens
