I am looking to buy my first car and really like the Prius. I am interested in the no frills Prius II model and it MSRPs for 23ish K... since Toyota is going through many PR problems at the moment, is it possible to get a better deal on the Prius? I would really like to pay around 22K TOTAL with tax... is this plausible?
I have also looked at other cars, but I think the Prius fits me the best. The specific dealership that I will be purchasing this car from also offers a lifetime powertrain warranty...
I would appreciate inputs! Should I offer 21K total and haggle up from there? Thanks..
