Can i get a bachelors degree in biology in a community college?

I want to be a plastic surgeon, and i understand that its a loooonnng road, but anyways i was thinking in becoming a RN in college and then going to med school but i just read that you need a bachelors degree in biology to get into med school do i get that in college??
 
The majority of community colleges only offer at the most associates or 2 year degrees, but some do offer 4 year or bachelor's degrees. For the cheapest bachelor's degree you are probably looking at one of the big state schools.
 
Yes, most community colleges have bachelors in biology. It would be a mistake and a waste of time to become a nurse, then become a doctor. It is not the right path. Call the community college and ask them what they offer. Also, my best advice is to call and make an appt. with a school counselor. They would tell you the right path. Good luck!
 
rn's don't take as advanced classes in bio and chem as pre-med so it is easier to be a bio major and get into med school than a nurse that has to go back and take more classes
