Can I force my printer to print a black & white image when it's out of colour ink?

It won't print unless there is ink in all 4 cartridges (It's an Inkjet printer btw). I tried going into options and selecting 'black ink only' but it won't do it, even though there's no colour in the image I'm trying to print. Pressing the 'start B&W' button on my printer has no effect. Any help?

Go into your printers settings and there should be an option that tells you to print in black and white only or greyscale.

Yeah.. thats the lame part about some printers these days.
It won't let you print unless you have all colors in. :l
I don't know what's their deal..
