Can I fix the clock in my 2003 Toyota Corolla?

A couple months ago it just went out. Sometimes it comes back on, sometimes it doesn't. It usually keeps track of the time when it is back on. I've gotten a new battery since it went out, but that didn't seem to help. Is this something that's easy to fix? I don't know much about these kind of things. And if I can fix it, do I need to get a whole new clock and take it out of the console?
 
well here's a thought. its 2003 and its a toyota= cheap car. lol u expect things in the car to be working in mint condition after 5 years from a car that was less then 18,000
