I have my dad's old Cecil Walker road bike, and recently I found the remains of a nice, new Gios racing bike with amazing Campagnolo 10 speed components. I was going to fit these parts to my CW, but my dad says that the chaindrive won't work because of the difference in chain wear in the chain and deraileurs. I'm also not sure if the chain will be too narrow for the cluster. Is this correct?
Note: In the mess of parts I found, there was no rear wheel, so I will be using the old cluster and wheel.
Also, I can't use the Gios frame because it has a huge crack in it from what looks to be a pretty bad stack.
Please help..
