The Hunk has alloy wheels, not wire spoked wheels. If you'll look on the side of the rim, it should have "tubeless" stamped into it. If it was a tube type tire, the valve stem (for putting air in the tires) would have threads all the way down the stem, with a nut at the bottom to keep it secure to the rim. A tubeless tire valve stem does not have threads all the way down and does not have a nut to hold it to the rim.
If you choose a tire with a softer compound, it will perform better but the tires will wear out faster. A harder compound will not perform as well but it will last longer.
