I got my 2nd generation 8gb iPod touch in May, and while I'm constantly reminded of how many things the 3g can do that the 2g can't, I just had to live with my cheaper 2g. Then Steve Jobs comes along with his snappy statistics saying how "remarkable" and "incredible" the new iPod touch 4g will be, and I'm really starting to get annoyed with my old 2g iPod touch. If there's any possible way I can exchange my 2g iPod touch for the new 4g iPod touch (8gb) and pay the difference ($30), please tell me. I'm getting really sick of reading "New! Retina display graphics!" in every update for my apps and not being able to experience that.
Can I exchange my iPod touch for the new 4g iPod touch?
