Can I exchange a cellphone I found?

My friend found a Samsung eternity, and I have a razor and I was trying to put the sim card in but I guess it was too big for the Samsung. I was wondering if I cud exchange it for a different cell phone or if there was someway I cud figure out how to use it.
 
Before I found a RAZR (many years ago) and I sold it for 10 bucks. The owner of the phone filed a complaint and whoever had the phone at the time got into trouble. If your SIM card doesn't fit now then it's useless anyways.

I suggest turning it in, just in-case.
 
Figure out which company it's from. If there phones are usually unlocked, then you can sign it up to your cellphone company. But razRs are usually unlocked.
 
You most likely can't upgrade it cause some phones need the Buyers papars and reciets nd stuff like that.

So id go to a shop were u can sell it for money.

Or just sell it
