Can I dump a preset MIDI pattern on my Boss SP505 to ProTools for editing?

I'd like to take a preset on my SP505 and dump the MIDI notes to the graphical editor in ProTools, so I can tweak and edit the loop for songwriting demos.

Is this possible? I know audio recording, but I've never been too fluent in MIDI.

I'm trying to avoid either trying to figure out the pattern and input the notes by hand in ProTools to trigger the drum machine, or recording and chopping up the audio.
