I am 28 and I am ashamed to admit I never learned how to ride a bike.My dad thought they were too expensive while I was growing up, so he never bought me one. When I became independent, there were other things more important that buying a bike, so I never got one.
I've exercised on stationary bikes before, but never on a regular moving one.
I just joined the gym yesterday and I was thinking in taking some spinning classes. The spinning bikes look a lot different than the regular stationary bikes, but they are still attached to the ground. How hard can it be?
What can I expect of an spinning class?

I agree with the first two answers but i just wanted to add that it's not to late to learn to ride a bike. And it's not that difficult either. Just something to think about if you have th desire.

Spinning bikes are the same thing except they are designed for standing up and spinning. Expect to get a good workout and be a little stiff the next day.
