Can I dispute debit card charges?

My ex-gfd used my debit card to buy air tickets online without my authorization, (and it was about 1500) now she's refusing to pay me back, can I dispute charges? How will they investigate if she's out of country?
she used my debit card number and my info to buy airtickets, my card was always with me, she had it written down somewhere
 
First of all you'll need to report this unauthorized use to the police and your bank. They'll have to investigate and make sure fraud is not going on. When someone that the person knows uses the debit or credit card its more difficult to prove unauthorized use. How long ago did this occur? Why didn't you report it when it happened? How did she get your card? Did you give it to her? Did she steal it? Did you report it stolen?
