OK, I'm basically thinking about getting a 40-42inch LCD tv which I will be using for the Xbox360 (HDMI elite version) I buy, and watching movies.
I have a decent computer with an 8800gt 256mb connected to my AOC 2216Vw. Can I use my PC kinda like a reciever/decoder (it will be less than a metre away from the new TV) and watch the Divx movies i stream on the TV by connecting the two, and still retaining the 1080p capability of my TV and using the 5.1 logitech speakers as my source of sound (that I'm buying and will connect to the PC).
And can i somehow change the options on the PC so that it knows it will be regularly displaying on 2 'monitors' (im XP) and if possible power the TV and my AOC monitor at the same time, so i can watch a movie on the TV but still browse the internet on my monitor (like flick the mouse between the TV and monitor).
I'm thinking about one of these 2 models, either a cheap Konka KL42CS62Q (http://www.konka.co.nz/productdetail.php… or a Sony V4500 (or 5500 or W4500 or W5500, all fairly similar though) depending on my budget. Is this viable?
