Can I delete Windows Media Format 11 Runtime and Windows Media Encoder 9 Series?

I use a 3rd party program for watching videos and iTunes for my music. I do not use Windows Media Player for anything so I want to know if I delete both will it cause problems if I watch online and offline videos? Or will it cause any issues with my PC at all? Experts come :D
