Can I cook hamburger meat in the microwave?

No, you can only thaw hamburger meat in a microwave.
You can never cook it in a microwave other than that.

You most certainly CAN cook hamburger in a microwave oven! Cook it for a few minutes, then take it out and chop/crumble it up and cook it some more. It may not brown as much as cooking it in an oven, but as long as you cook it until is is at least 170-degrees in the middle, it will be cooked.

not a problem as long as you can cut the meat open and have it all cooked through (no red or pink showing.) remember not to use a metal cooking dish
