This will be my first Thanksgiving cooking. I am going to make fresh green beans with the meal.
I know my stove will already be full with everything else that I am making so I thought about making my green beans in the crock pot.
How long would it take to make it? I don't like my veggies crispy...I want them the consistency as a canned green bean.
I also don't need a recipe for green beans with potatoes, salt pork, bacon or anything else b/c I am not going to be putting any of that in my green beans since it is a side dish for Thanksgiving dinner. Every recipe I have tried to find online has pork or potatoes included...I just want to make the beans.
I just want to know if I should add water? Not add water? Cook it on high? Low? How many hours?
