Can I convert a document from word to email as jpeg attachment?

I scanned a picture and saved it in word, now I have to send it as an email attachment in jpeg format....I have no idea on how to do that or what that is even....please help.

no, you can't.
jpeg is a type of file for pictures (only pictures.)
kind of like 'word document.doc' or '.docx'
but for pictures...
but as word is.. word..
you can't save it as a picture file
why don't you directly send the picture?
(btw, jpg and jpeg are the same thing)
