I'm interested in getting a Tmobile smartphone but don't want to have to pay for the 2year internet contract. I've had an unlocked phone before (w/out an internet plan) and was able to connect to the internet at home or at wifi cafes. Can I do the same thing if I purchase the phone at Tmobile at the full, no-internet plan price or if I get the 2year contract and, after 2 years, don't renew the internet part?
