Can I change my IP address?

I got banned from a Web site/message board for unjust reasons. I'd really like to register a new account there, but, unfortunately, a power-mad moderator of the forum has blocked my IP address. I've tried using free Web proxies, but they generally don't work very well.

Is there a way for me to change my IP address? I'm a Comcast customer in California, in case it matters.

If your IP has been blocked, You can change your IP by resetting the modem. Or you can make a request to change your IP from your ISP. They would notify you once when your IP is changed. You can also visit www.IP-Details.com to ensure that your IP is changed.
