Can I carry a shot gun unloaded on my bicycle?

I am an epileptic so I can not drive a motor vehicle. Id like to take my shot gun for clay shooting and hunting. My only way of transportation is my 10 speed bicycle. Can I legal carry from place to place.

Yes, but make sure that the action is open and the gun in a case or sock.
Also, if your bringing ammo, put it in a bag while it's still in the box and carry it on opposite the gun.

Really depends on local laws and ordinances and how gun scared the area is. Places like Wyoming you can actually open carry firearms in town. But somewhere back east or Comifornia might have a heart attack if they saw you with a shotgun strapped across your back. Best bet is call your local police and talk to them.

Call your local PD or ck state,county,city laws.

Generally you must lock a gun in the trunk of a car when transporting or keep it in a case out of view...unloaded with action open and no ammo around.

If there are issues....just get a permit or get a locker at the range or skeet club.
