can I bypass my ac compresor on a 97 jeep cherokee by putting a smaller belt on.

they dont make a bypass pully? I have a jeep with a bad ac compressor and they dont make bypass pully's for a 97 cherokee. can I just by a smaller belt and skip the compressor pully?
