I had an old xbox 360. It got the three red rings while under warenty. I sent it in. They fixed it, but then two weeks later it got the three red rings came back. I sent it in once again. Now it has broken a third time outside of its additional 1 year warranty. If I were to send it in, they are going to charge me $140 plus shipping. I already know that if I send it in it is going to break again. So I am planning on attempting to fix it myself, and if it works great, if it doesn't then I am just going to go buy an xBox arcade and put my old hard drive on it. Does anybody know from experience that the xBox arcade can put an external hard drive from an old xbox on to the new one and it still work?
Can I buy an xBox arcade and use my old hard drive?
