I have a Sears gift card and want a specific game but Sears does not have it for Xbox 360, only for Wii and are not getting any more. So if I buy the Wii game at Sears do you think I would be able to exchange it for the Xbox version at BestBuy, without a reciept of course?
I thought about the bar code issue... Im going to try it tho. If BestBuy wont take it, Im sure Walmart will!! :-)

You should be able to do this easily. Buy the game at Sears and DO NOT OPEN IT. lol. nut anyways. Just got to Best Buy and go to the costumer service desk and just say you got it as a gift but you don't have a WII anymore and you have a 360, They will just exchange it out for one. Well i hope this helps and happy gaming!

Added: And as for the 2 people that posted before me and the one bellow me, We actually like this at Best Buy, It shows us that we have the better selection on the items that the consumers want. And as for a receipt, It's called in- store credit, But if they aren't too busy at the customer service, they can just ask you to go get it off the shelf and they will exchange it right there. They just want the easy 2 points. So don't mind them.

no because they have codes on the game packages and they will know it did not come from there store. Sounded good though. Good luck! =)
