Can i buy a 00' toyota to use the engine for a 05' toyota?

I have a 2005 toyota corolla, I can't find any place that has a rebuilt engine for it, i need to get fast. for my 2005 toyota corolla whats the oldest year of another toyota i can buy to replace the motor
