I bought a nice Raleigh touring bicycle in the UK about 22years ago with Reynold's 351 tubing. I wanted to rebuild the bicycle with this frame recently, but when I approached some bicycle shops here in France, they said they couldn't get parts because they were all on European metric sizes. I am going back to the UK next year and am decided whether to ship the bicycle frame.I would do this if I knew I could rebuild the bicycle in the UK. Could someone please advise me?
I mean Reynolds 531 tubing. Sorry for any confusion.
The wheels on the bicycle are 27" x 1 1/8", I still have them though of course the tube and type need replacing.
