Can I bring my electronics to foster care?

Is it possible for me to bring my laptop and cell phone with me to a new foster care home?
I realize that pets I may not be allowed to because some people may be allergic and what not..
 
You know, there used to be several ex-foster kids here who could have answered your question.

But they were run off.

I have no clue, but I will warn that it is well documented on here that foster kids get their stuff nicked off them A LOT (many times by other foster kids). So if you can, all fine and dandy, but just be careful with them.
