Can I block someones number from calling and texting me if I'm on Vodafone?

I'm on the mobile network Vodafone. I want to be able to block someones number so I can no longer receive calls or texts from this person. Can I do this and how?? Is there a certain number you can call or text to do this is the UK? Thank you.
I have a Blackberry Curve on Vodafone.
 
Hiya i had the same problem you did and i tried phoning up 3 (my network) they couldnt do anything so looked online and found a software that will block call and text but for you seeing as your on vodafone try this

I dont know if you have a nokia but i tried the link and it successfully blocked calls and texts
