Can I attach a new phone to my current bell contract?

my current hpne i have is a little broken so i am planning to get an LG GD900 and attach it to my bell contract and throw my old phone away. my contract still has 1 more year. Will my new phone work with my bell contract and am i aloud to attach this phone?
 
Yeah it doesn't matter unless your new phone requires some new features. It should still work, it's like getting a new laptop, you wouldn't need to change your internet to make it work.
