income on the initial order? Let me preface this by saying I am totally devoted to my kids and take them every weekend. I am not trying to shirk my responsibility and am completely willing to pay to support my kids. I can't however pay what I don't have. 2 years ago when I was divorced my lawyer put down my income of $5,000. This was my non adjusted gross. I protested at the time but he insisted it was the best way to get the best deal. I am self employed. My actual adjusted gross was 2,900. It was ordered I pay $140 per week. I haven't been able to keep that payment up. I tried but my income which is commision only has drastically decreased even with picking up a second job. Now my nonadjusted income is around $3,700 and my adjusted is $1,990. I am going back tomorrow and I am asking to get a reduction in my oblication due to less income, Can I also get some of the past due support removed due to my income not being correct on the initial order?
