Me and my friends were smoking behind this power box kind of thing, aparently it was on our high school school property, and if your caught smoking on school property you get a 305$ fine. The same police officer came behind this box when me and m friends were smoking just to search if we had anything illegal on us. he found nothing, but he also never gave us a ticket leading me to beleive we were aloud there, ( im fifteen years old) would i be able to plead ignorance, the sidewalk was just a few feet away, if we had known about this law we obviously would have walking the 7 feet over to the sidewalk which is aparently the safe zone, if i cant do anything, how can a fifteen year old come up with 305 dollars in 14 days. please no answers saying smoking is wrong and all that bs, k thanks
