My fiance has an Even More Plus Plan with T-Mobile (no contract, pay monthly) and we have been thinking about adding a line on for me, but he thought for some reason that if you *did* add a line on, that I would not be able to purchase the phone from an outside source and use it on the additional line, and that I would have to purchase the phone directly from T-Mobile to add it on. This does not make sense to me at all. Does anyone know if it is true?
