Can/how do you bike over the Niagara Falls border?

I'm a Canadian who was interested in taking a day trip to Niagara Falls and I'm interested (but have never been) to the American side of the falls. The GO Train (which serves the Greater Toronto Area) is offering weekend, summer service to Niagara Falls and I'm taking my bike. I wasn't sure if you could and if you can how to take a bike across the border. Does anyone know?

Walk it across the Rainbow Bridge. The Rainbow Bridge is the first bridge downstream from the falls. There is a walkway and customs agents who only handle pedestrians.

Also make sure you have your passport to get across the border. New regulations went into effect last month. Also, you may be disappointed by the American side of the falls. There is little to see from the US side, and the Niagara Falls, USA is a dump of a city.

Sure, just ride across the bridge and stop to show the border patrol your passport. Passport info on the site below is outdated, but it does talk about riding a bike across the border.
