Can having too much sex cause bleeding?

We've been together for a long time, neither of has any stds, but this past week we went away for several days and had sex A LOT. Like twice in a day sometimes, it started to get painful after a couple days.

Now I've spotted a couple days, and my period might be here? I'm not due yet, so I'm not sure if it's just early or if this was because of the sex? I'm on the pill, too...if that makes any difference.
 
I wouldn't worry about it. Most likely it's because of the frequent sex.
