Can God be called "Mother God" since He created both man and woman IN HIS IMAGE?

Your thoughts pls.
Tapestry,

Jesus said to GORGE out your eyes if you lust after another.

So why don't you take it literally too? Oh..because THAT VERSE is metaphorical.

My thoughts differ from yours. Ask a question, do not use my words as an endorsement or stain on my soul for you to paste and append.

G-d is spirit and is neither male nor female. However, since humans have the tendency of referring to all beings (even inanimate objects) by gender, then it was found necessary to refer to "I am that I am" by a gender. And since G-d created the male of the species first and placed him in dominion over all other creatures, and yes women too, then it was only natural for G-d to be placed in a male gendered role. Thus referring to Him as the Father, not the Mother. So, should it be changed now because of "womens lib"? No it should not, because whether we like it or not, man is still the head of the households, not women.

Genesis 1:26 God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 1:27 God created MAN in HIS own image. In God’s image HE created him; male and female HE created them...

Yes, it is true God is a woman, Only Mother has the ability to create things. God created man and woman, with her image not his image.

There is also a scientific truth, woman holds the key, whether the child has to be boy or a girl.
so you should call her "Mother God".

In Genesis it actually says God made man in "our" image. Yeah, that's right. There's more than one God in the beginning of the bible. How about the end? JUST ONE!
