Just asking because way, way back just before the start of the 1st Gulf War I was on the Greek island of Crete and one day went to a US base (USAF @ Gournes) and simply asked if I could sign up. They weren't too sure so took me inside, made a few calls and it turned out that I couldn't. However I later think I read somewhere that foreign nationals can and do serve in the US Armed Forces? Thanks.
