Can fish survive (if so, for how long) in liquids other than water?

Can a fish survive in a liquid other than water for very long? Or would it take a human the same amount of time to drown in a pool of water than it would in a pool of koolaid? I know this sounds like a stupid question, but I was just wondering.
 
fish cannot survive in other liquids beside water and it would take the same amount of time to drown someone in koolaid as it would in water
