I am a final year student at a UK University. I have had a pretty bad academic year. I have had an ongoing medical problem in which doctors cant seem to find the cause, my sister suffered a major car accident and nearly died and has cognitive damage, she became addicted to her pain meds and a lot of my time got spent on being there for her and it was emotionally draining because she wanted to commit suicide. Then my uncle threatened to kill me because I married out of my faith and my entire family including my mother disowned me because I changed my faith. My husband cheated on me, the man my entire family disowned me over.. betrayed me. I am emotionally drained and a wreck. It makes it worst because its my final year. In your opinion based on my situation will I likely get granted EC.
I am worried final year students cannot apply for an EC. I dont want to redo the year I thought if I can have one of my modules assesments as a defferal it would lift a huge weight off of me. In a time where I should be worrying about my health I am upset because I have all these crap going on and I just cant seem to catch a break.
