can environments make AIDS symptoms worse?

my father is suffering from AIDS and gets sick alot. he goes over to his girlfriends house for a couple days here and there and always seems to come back really sick. is there something she could be doing to cause this????
 
Maybe. Is her house too hot or too cold? Is it too humid or too dry? Does she use air freshner or spray lots of perfume or air fresheners? Does she smoke a lot? Maybe they are smokin weed or getting drunk. Maybe they don't eat. Is he allergic to animals that she might have, or is her house really dusty? You just never know--there are MANY factors. Maybe he's just not getting enough sleep.
