Can dog eat white rice ( or any other type of rice )?

Rice is an ingredient in a lot of dog foods. I wouldn't give him/her too much though, and I would mix it with canned dog food.

Rice is good you can do white or brown rice

My vet recommends plain white rice alone and then mixing it with food anytime my dog has digestive issues. The rice helps to slow down the process when things are moving a little too fast, if you know what I mean. It really binds him up, it needs to be used sparingly.

Your dog can eat white rice, but WHY? There really isn't much nutritional value to white rice. Brown or wild rice is somewhat better and is digestible, too. Neither is anything like a balanced meal for a dog, though.
