I actually already know they can survive because I put mines into my huge tropical fish aquarium and its growing beautifully. I think it's getting its nutrients from fish poo and decomposed uneaten fish food.
I just want to know If they normally are able to grow or survive underwater? Assuming it gets nutrients( in my case, from fish poo and fish food)
Do they drown?
And would they pose a danger to tropical fishes? like do they release bad chemicals or other stuff?
