This may simply be a coincidence, but whenever my son comes back from his father's house, he is sick with a cold or other sinus related illness. This has been going on for a while (several years) and has me concerned. My son has mentioned to me on several different occasions that his father's house has dead crickets and other bugs through out the house...including the black "dust" that crickets leave behind. My son doesn't have allergies or asthma, but always seems sick when he comes back to my house. Could it be due to the bugs in the house, general uncleanliness, etc...my ex has never invited me in and the relationship is strained to say the least. I have talked to my son's doctor about it and all he'll say is "maybe". Any insight would be helpful....seems the minute I mention that this is an issue involving my ex, everyone seems to take the 5th or say that they don't want to get in the middle of something.
