Can Chinese Algea Eaters survive in a tank with gold fish? A snail? Without a filter?

I have a tank. I have two goldfish, Frank and Fido, that are like year old. I have some gorgeous snail, Snelly. And two Chinese Algea Eaters. Will they co-exsist without a filter? Bonus points if you can hook me up with an aquarium fish help site.
Meijers called them Chinese Algea Eaters. I hate big buisness.
 
Yes they can, although this question is going to attract digs from other fish lovers telling you that you can't keep a fish without a filter.

If the two goldfish have survived this long without a filter then chances are they will continue to do so quite happily although once they start to outgrow their tank space, a larger filtered tank is a better option, although you could also install a small air powered box filter into the tank without breaking the budget.

There is no such thing as a Chinese algae eater. The fish I assume you mean is actually a Chinese hillstream loach which lives in fast flowing streams which are extremely well oxygenated. The flat body which they have is adapted to staying on the bottom without being washed away in the current. This also makes them a permanent resident as catching them is next to impossible.

The answer is yes you can keep them but they will not live as long or happy a life in such conditions and a small air driven filter will make things easier for them and also you as it means less water changes and a more stable environment for all the fish.

Gold fish should have a filter. what size tank do you have? I wish they would not sell Chinese algae eaters these fish get to be over a foot long and are mean when they mature. I had one and will never have one again. I do not recommend them they are good at cleaning algae when they are small but when they mature they will eat less algae and want more meat.

They need a heater.

These are not part of the Loach family they are part of the Catfish family. Sucker mouth catfish.
