I'm trying so hard to remember this paperback novel I read in grade school.
even around the early 2o00's it looked pretty ragged and early 90'sish. I'm not sure if it was R.L. Stine or another big horror mystery novelist, but this was a murder mystery. A ghost of a girl with blonde hair, green eyes and who would surf occasionally was pushed off a balcony by someone at a party. She tries to find out what happened as a ghost with the help of a ghost friend named Peter who becomes a romantic interest later. He died in a motorcycle accident not too long before her murder. At some point there was a seance that her friends did with her. I know for sure the book had another sequel where her and Peter get new living bodies: Peter gets a paralyzed body that needs a wheelchair and the girl gets the body of a native american girl I believe. This is about all I can remember. The title was something sad like Don't Forget about me I think.
