I want to keep it traditional and wear a white dress. The bridesmaid dresses are green. And to match the bridesmaid dress the groomsmen will wear white with a green vest and tie.But then that's where the problem kicks in.I don't want my husband to feel different or stand out.But then maybe that's a good thing.Should he stick with tradition and go with a black tux.Or should he wear white like his groomsmen. And we both wear white.I don't know which one to go with.Black and white tux.Or white and silver/gray??Which do you think??What are your opinions?

He needs to wear a white tux. Try to imagine what your wedding pics will look like: one black tux in a sea of white and green. Your colors are good. It's just that he should wear a white tux, because it would blend in a lot better with the others, since their colors are already decided.

I wore a white tux with thin black-line trim, and a white shirt with black trim around the buttons. I liked it. My groomsmen wore black tuxes.
It was good.

the old saying may be its the brides day and what the bride wants it goes... well that goes the same for the groom. If the groom want to wear white then go for it. Im planning my wedding and these our colors... im wearing a white dress with a blue lace up back, my bridemaids are wearing blue. my groom is wearing a white tux with black pin stripes with a blue vest and tie while the groomsmen wear black tux with white pin stripes and blue vest and ties.. its our wedding and thats the way we want it and we think its going to look great! all in blue!

The bride and groom both can wear white. I think it will look nice and if you get some black and white photos or sepia one's it will really stand out.

Best of luck and Congrats!

I think the groom should wear white, and if you want the groomsmen to look different, put them in a gray tux. I think it would be fine though if your groom and the groomsmen all wear white. It would be cute if the groomsmen all had green vests and ties, and the groom had a white or black vest and tie. It would also tie the whole look together if the bridesmaids wore a white sash if everyone else is wearing white, or David's bridal has white tops iwth colored embroidery that can be paired with a green skirt-(which will match the embroidery on the top). I think your wedding sounds very pretty and modern! Good luck and congrats!!!

My daughter just got married. Her colors were light green, lavender, and orchid. She wore a traditional white dress and the groom wore a white tux with a silvery gray bow tie. The groomsmen wore black suits with light green ties. The bridesmaids wore orchid taffeta dresses and silver shoes.

I loved the white with the silver tie. The wedding pics were gorgeous of the two of them in white.

P.S. The boutonniere can also make your groom stand out. Have your florist make his boutonniere different from the groomsmen's boutonnieres.
