No, foxes have a great ability to adjust to their environment. I would imagine that they eventually would never get their white coat if they were moved to a warmer climate since there would be no need to have a white coat in an area where there is no snow. I think they would survive. Plus because they have such a wide variety of animals/plants that they can eat, so that wouldn't be a problem.
 
adapted to? Say you moved a fox from the arctic into a zoo exhibit, and the zoo exhibit didn't have the same environment (different climate, different soils, sun, etc), could the fox die?
