Can anyone tell me why my dirt bike won't start?

I have a 2005 yamaha ttr125 with both kick and electric start. The electric start hasn't worked for as long as I have had it but the kick start has always been very reliable. I went trail riding last weekend and it worked fine but the day after that I tried starting it and it just wouldn't go. The gas and ignition are turned on. Evreytime I try kick starting it gas comes out the overflow tube. Can anybody please tell me what's wrong with my bike. I don't want to have to take it in for expensive repairs. Thanks

stuck float...buy new plug then tap on fuel bowl or in worst case take carb apart to dislodge dirt that's holding needle valve open, i just had to do that on my bike.

it could be flooded, if so yo need a new spark plug, to check if the spark plug is goo or bad you can check by un screwing it but leave it hooked it the boot or put it in the boot after unscrewing it then as you get the starter touch the bottom of the plug to some metal and see if there is a spark then its good if no spark then its bad....... it could also be that somethings un hooked like a gas line or something... or try to clean out the carburetor
