can anyone tell me where the headlight dinger is on a 96 dodge neon?

normally when i shut my car off and the headlights are on i open my car door and it starts dinging at to turn my headlight off. but today several times my head lights were on and and the door was open but it did not ding at me and i forget them were on where i got home i noticed that my headlights were on but it did not ding at me and i cannot figure out where it is located to try to fix it. my husband checked my fuse box but that wasn't the problem. can anyone tell me where the dinger is located or who i can contact please. ive tryed searching online but it was no help for wut i am looking for
 
try looking under the right hand side of the dash lower part of it,i think its located on the lower part ,i disconnected mine a long time ago,good luck.
